about me

Clara holds a master in Art History (KULeuven) and a bachelor in Fine Arts: Photography (Luca School of Arts).

Her artistic work is mostly inspired by social and political issues, translating them into photographic or videographic work with a touch of irony. You can read a recent interview on her project ‘Anesthesie’ (2021) here.

Clara is connected to the Lieven Gevaert Research Centre for Photography, Art and Visual Culture. A short article on her masters thesis can be found on the LGC blog. She aims to continue her research on the role of museums and cultural centres in pending social and political debates, with a focus on the accessibility of the minority groups featured.
